Objectives and Goals
Our health and safety policy objectives and goals include:
- Promoting knowledge and understanding of the hazards associated with chemicals and products, supplied by ACE, amongst staff, contractors and customers.
- Establishing communication, participation and consultation processes.
- Providing a product base that includes supplies that can assist customers to control their safety risks.
- Pro-actively assessing the occupational health and safety risks associated with the business.
- Continual employee job related training to support occupational health and safety matters.
- Implementation of controls and performance measures to minimize risks of illness, accidents, incidents and emergencies in the workplace.
- Ensuring management, staff and contractors are equipped to manage their risks, including roles and responsibilities, adequate training and competency, and supply of suitable resources.
- Setting measurable objectives and targets and developing health & safety management programmes for improvement.
